Transylvania - Count Kalnoky's Guesthouses

We use the funds generated by the guesthouses to restore our cultural heritage
(see restoration page).

Prices are in EURO per person sharing a double room. Excursions & activities comprise guides, entries, restaurant meals à la carte or picknicks and transportation. Meals are copious and organic and include also wine.

14 nights: 36 Eur 32 GBP

Off-Season Rates: A discount of 15% is applied on all bookings between:
- One week after Halloween and one week before Christmas

- One week after New Year and one week before Easter

You can also choose "All Inclusive" tariffs according to the length of your stay: They include all tours, activities, full board with wine, restaurant meals à la carte, entry fees and taxes. You will need no extra money to spend during your stay, except for tips or to purchase handicraft or other gifts.

For Christmas and New Year, minimum stay is 7 days, 'all inclusive'. Shorter bookings can be accepted after December 1st.

Meet & Greet service, transfer (one way per person) from:
Low fare flights available. Nearest airport is Targu Mures, TGM Transyvania airport.

- Bucharest Henri Coanda or Baneasa airports (low fare flights available): 70 EUR or 62 GBP/pers/one way or double if alone. If more than 3 persons share a ride, we calculate 55 EUR or 49 GBP/pers/one way. Mineral water, coffee, local brandy, sandwiches and pastry provided during the trip.
- From Brasov (station): 15 EUR or 13 GBP/pers/one way or 30 if alone (or similar distances).
- From Targu-Mures (Marosvásárhely) airport: 35 EUR or 30 GBP/pers/one way or 70 if alone.
- From Cluj Napoca (Kolozsvár) airport: 70 EUR or 62 GBP/pers/one way or double if alone in the car.

Transfers are not subject to discounts. Children count full.

50% discount for children under 14 years. Children under 4 years are free of charge if accommodated in their parents' room.

Single supplement (only in case of full house): 20 EUR or 17 GBP/person and night. Not subject to discounts.

Laundering and ironing as well as telephone (internet) are available at a reasonable fee.

Travel and insurance are not included, but insurance is compulsory (ask a travel agency for advice).

We take a deposit of 30% of the booked sum plus 2% credit card handling fee. Visa and Mastercard are accepted. In case of cancellation we will not refund the deposit but it can be used for a future booking. Rest of payment on departure either by card or cash. Due to local bank fees and exhaustive administrative regulations we are sorry to have to bill an extra 2% if payment occurs by card. Debiting can only happen in EUR or LEI or GBP.
Bank transfers are also welcome.
